2017 Treatment activism training
The NHS is going through great change. To address this, as an activist network, the CAB is organizing intensive training for activists now working in new situations in healthcare. 11 CAB activists – new and experienced –were trained in this retreat.
Aim of the training: The primary aim of the training is to help individual CAB members to improve their skills and confidence. The outcome will be for members who attend the course to become more engaged and active in UK-CAB activities over the following year.

About UK-CAB
UK-CAB is a UK-wide network for community HIV treatment advocates. It was set up in 2002 to enable HIV treatment activists to better understand science and research.
This 2017 training course is funded thanks to a grant from the Lottery Fund.
