Jo Josh

Following her HIV diagnosis in 2008, Jo has used the communications experience gained in a long career in the media, public relations and marketing in the HIV sector.

She now combines these communications skills with the insights of a person living with HIV, managing media communications and advocacy for the British HIV Association (BHIVA).

Jo is also proud to be Co-Chair of the Sophia Forum, a charity focused on the rights and needs of women living with HIV, a regular spokesperson for the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) Positive Voices Initiative and a member of the advisory group of the National AIDS Trust (NAT.)

A former vice chair of a NICE committee, and member of the Council of Governors for the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, she contributes to research panels for both sexual and mental health.
